Dry & Itchy scalp

A dry, itchy and irritated scalp is unfortunately very common during the winter. Without treatment, the condition will only get increasingly worse. Dry heated indoor air through the winter is one of the main reasons for an itchy scalp, funnily enough! Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulphates (SLS), which can be found in most shampoos and conditioners on the market, is another factor that can cause an irritated scalp, as it strips the hair and scalp of its natural oils.

The Tricho Scalp Therapy range is especially designed to beat this annoying condition, and helps to control dandruff and other conditions associated with symptoms of itch, redness and scaling. The 3-step program is available in Scalp Balance(dry), Scalp Control (oily) and Sensitive(sensitive), depending on your individual hair & scalp type.

The three steps…

  1. Cleanser. Gently cleanses the scalp without stripping the hair of its natural oils.
  2. Conditioner. Gently nourishes the scalp and hair.
  3. Toner. Acts as a stimulant, promoting circulation and healthy pH balance.

Note: For the Sensitive scalps, step 3 is Relief Crème, to calm and soothe the scalp.

Winter is easily beaten with De Lorenzo this year – bed socks not included (sorry!).
